Our story begins in the early 80s when the first STI company was established in Germany. Back then, STI (Deutschland) GmbH was tasked with organising pre-freight for HAVI Logistics to support the supply chain for their main customer McDonald’s. The challenge was to ensure that all goods arrive in optimal condition.
Building upon initial successes, we opened further offices throughout Europe in the 1990s, including in France, Scandinavia, Poland and Italy. The early 2000s saw us expand to Russia, Hungary and Spain and in 2009, the holding company STI Freight Management GmbH was established, with HAVI Global Logistics GmbH
and Martin-Brower UK Holdings (Ltd.)
as joint shareholders.
Today, STI Freight Management is one of Europe’s leading providers of temperature-controlled logistics. Yet we see ourselves as more than just a service provider – we’re a partner to customers who are at the heart of our strategy and who we help to achieve their business goals. Our vast network is strategically located in 9 countries and is unified by a common strategy and a common working model, with harmonised quality requirements, haulier processes, Transport Management System (TMS) software and IT platforms. This allows us to provide consistent quality throughout the continent and take your goods further.
We currently employ over 250 people at 13 locations and are a global company, with approximately half of our transport orders going out internationally. But with our network of specialists around Europe, we are just as well placed to offer local knowledge and solutions. We are not just a quality leader but also a financially robust and reliable partner backed by two strong shareholders and customers: HAVI and MARTIN-BROWER.
